Build clear, responsive interfaces for the restaurant tasks people repeat throughout the day.
About the role
A menu change or an order should not require the user to understand the system behind it. You will turn product ideas and designs into dependable interfaces, with attention to how they behave on real devices and connect to the rest of the platform.
The difference you’ll make
- Restaurant workflows remain clear across screen sizes.
- Interfaces behave reliably as data changes.
- Changes are easier for the next developer to understand and maintain.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain frontend applications with React, TypeScript and Next.js.
- Connect interfaces to Firestore, REST APIs and third-party services.
- Work with designers and backend engineers from early decisions through release.
- Improve performance, responsive behavior and the maintainability of the code.
- Write unit and integration tests for the behavior that people rely on.
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years of frontend development experience, preferably with React, TypeScript and Next.js.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong HTML, CSS and responsive design skills, and experience integrating with backend APIs.
- The ability to investigate problems, explain technical choices and work independently with other disciplines.
It’s a plus if you have
- Experience with Firestore or another NoSQL database.
