About the role
Restaurant teams need tools that make sense in the middle of their working day. You will shape how ninito feels and works, connect individual screens into coherent journeys and stay close to engineering as the design becomes a real product.

What you’ll do
- Work with product, engineering and leadership to define the problem before deciding what to build.
- Take designs from early exploration and prototypes through implementation and production.
- Connect the full customer journey, from a restaurant setting up its menu to staff using it during service.
- Develop reusable patterns and design-system components that make the product consistent and easier to use.
- Prototype interactions, work closely with engineers and follow the details through to the finished experience.
- Make complex capabilities, including AI features, understandable and useful in everyday restaurant work.
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years of product design experience, with examples of leading complex work across disciplines.
- Strong product and visual design skills, with examples of clear interaction design and careful execution.
- Experience working closely with engineers, including prototyping in code and contributing through pull requests.
- The ability to make progress when a problem is not fully defined, explain your decisions and respond to feedback.
- Curiosity about new technology, including AI, and judgment about when it helps the person using a product.
It’s a plus if you have
- Experience designing software for restaurants or other businesses with busy operational workflows.
