One shared ambition needed one connected operation
Los Tacos had built a chain of 11 restaurants with ambitions to go further. Behind the shared brand, however, the restaurants worked with different POS systems. Their data was fragmented, and the ordering experience did not fit the concept. The chain needed a platform that could bring the business together and support what came next.
A growing chain needed a shared foundation
The challenge went beyond choosing a POS for each restaurant. Los Tacos needed orders and information to work together across the chain. Separate systems made it harder to operate as one business.
ninito brought the POS and ordering channels into the same platform. The restaurants gained a shared system, with connected data supporting the operation. It was a concrete move from a collection of different tools to one system for the chain.
Running several locations also means having someone to call when service is in full swing. ninito includes its own Norwegian support team, available in Norwegian and English 24/7. No evening, night or weekend surcharge. The team is part of the platform’s value, wherever the next question comes from.
Ordering should feel like Los Tacos too
Los Tacos had a clear brand identity. That identity needed to carry through to the way guests ordered their food. The technology had to support the restaurant’s concept and the people using it.
ninito connected kiosk and QR ordering to the same POS. Los Tacos gained an ordering experience that suited its brand, with orders arriving in one system. Today, the chain has more than 80 self-service kiosks across its restaurants, giving guests the freedom to order at their own pace.
From the order to the kitchen station
Every order leads to work in the kitchen. For Los Tacos, the new platform also had to fit the way food was prepared, with different tasks handled at different stations.
The chain chose station-based kitchen displays from ninito. Production could be organised around the work at each station, with the kitchen connected to the same system as the orders. The journey from guest to kitchen became part of the shared operation.
Three delivery services, one restaurant operation
Los Tacos also reaches guests through Wolt, Foodora and Uber Eats. ninito connected all three delivery services to the same POS, making them part of the platform the restaurants already used.
With kiosks, QR ordering, kitchen stations and delivery connected, the chain had a system it could build on. From 11 restaurants at the start of the partnership, Los Tacos has grown to 19 and continues to expand. ninito keeps the different parts of its restaurant operation connected as the chain builds further.

Several systems across the chain
The 11 locations used different POS systems. Data was fragmented, and Los Tacos lacked one connected system for the chain.
Systems that did not fit the concept
The existing systems did not fit the Los Tacos brand. The chain wanted a setup suited to the way its restaurants accepted and prepared orders.
