15 locations, around 48 hours and Oakberry’s next chapter
Oakberry brought 15 locations onto ninito in around 48 hours. See why connected operations matter when a restaurant brand is growing.

Oakberry moved 15 locations to ninito in around 48 hours. The bigger story is what comes next, with POS, payments, menus, online ordering and reporting brought together for a growing business.
Growth should not multiply the administration
Opening another store should make a restaurant business bigger, not turn every menu change into another administrative project. Oakberry Nordic was growing across Scandinavia when its team began looking at the systems behind the business. The ambition was clear. The operating setup needed to keep pace with the stores.
The change brought 15 locations onto ninito in around 48 hours. That is a striking rollout window, but speed was only one part of the story. Bringing the operation together meant making POS, payments, online ordering, reporting and menu management work as one connected setup rather than as separate jobs for the central team.

Start with the work behind the numbers
The first conversation was about adding tools to an existing setup. The review went further. Oakberry and ninito looked at the systems, payment costs and tasks the team was completing by hand. Reports, accounting information and menu changes all had to move between different parts of the business.
That is a useful starting point for any growing chain. A system subscription is only one line in the picture. Someone still has to maintain products, reconcile information, answer store questions and work out why two reports disagree. When those tasks are repeated across locations, they take attention away from the restaurants themselves.
Self-service that fits the store
Oakberry already had self-service. The opportunity was to make it fit the concept and the space better. ninito introduced a kiosk setup shaped around the stores, allowing guests to browse the menu, build their order and pay while the team focused on preparation and service.
For an açaí concept, choices are part of the experience. Toppings and extras need to be easy to understand without making the order feel complicated. The ordering journey can present relevant additions at the moment the guest is choosing, keeping the suggestion close to the meal instead of relying on every employee to remember the same sales script.

The switch is one event, preparation is the real work
A short rollout starts before equipment reaches a counter. Products, prices, locations, payment flows and the work each team does all need a clear home. The practical lesson from a multi-location switch is to prepare a repeatable setup rather than asking every store to solve the same questions on its own.
For another restaurant group, build a launch checklist around real orders. Include a customised item, a refund, an online order and a menu change. Follow each from the guest’s first choice to the kitchen and the report. Name the person who signs off the result. A shared checklist turns a rollout into work the whole team can understand.

Make the next location easier to run
Once the operation shares a structure, the next location has something to build on. Menu management, reporting and the relationship between ordering and preparation no longer need to be reinvented from the beginning. The central team can spend more time on the decisions that really differ between stores.
That does not mean every location should be identical. Opening hours, local demand and physical space vary. The aim is to share the foundations while keeping the useful local differences visible. Oakberry’s story shows why the operating platform matters to expansion, not just to the purchase happening at the till today.
Build for the restaurant you are becoming
If your chain is growing, review the whole operating model before adding the next disconnected tool. Look at the work your team repeats, the information they wait for and the moments when a guest’s order has to cross between systems. Those are the places where a connected platform can make a difference.
Bring that expansion plan to ninito’s restaurant-experienced team. We work through menus, channels, equipment and launch with you, with included support behind the people running each location. Oakberry’s move shows what a shared foundation can make possible. Your rollout deserves the same attention to the operation you are building.
